-About Tamegroute Pottery:

Made from local white clay found only in the desert village of Tamegroute. First mixed in water for about 8 hours, then exposed to air to dry overnight. The next morning, we begin to work the mixture with the feet and hands. The master potter "Maalem" processes after for the artistic creation of the piece before leaving the piece in the shade for about 4 consecutive days. The next step is to leave it in the sun for a week.

Finally, the Tamegroute product will go into the oven fire heated 1200 Celsius twice with the last as a glazed piece.
