A lover of the desert, Inara Camp by Vincent Jaquet
"It was in November 2002, during a solitary 7000 km journey through Morocco that I literally fell in love with the Sahara. Three months later, at the age of 30, I left Biarritz to come and settle in the last village of the Draa valley, M'hamid el Ghizlane, where the road ends to make way for the dunes of the Sahara. .., a dream !
In 2003, he created a boutique hotel with 15 rooms, DAR AZAWAD, then in 2004, the first luxury bivouac in Morocco, a housing concept that offers a unique experience during an original journey. In 2012, he left the adventure of DAR AZAWAD to settle in Marrakech. A year later, he created LVDS - LES VENTS DU DÉSERT: A trip designer agency specializing in the south of Morocco whose purpose is the management of camps and the provision of its expertise for the production of tours and excursions for international agencies.
"The hotel and catering industry is a real passion for me. The customer experience in a camp is certainly one of the most extreme in the hospitality industry. Therefore, running camps in the middle of nowhere is the culmination of a true passion. After my hotel school in Dijon, I worked in the 2 and 3 Michelin stars with Joël Robuchon and some other great chefs. It was with them that I learned the rigor and consistency of my job. "
It was in 2015 that he discovered the Agafay desert. This rocky desert, just 30 km from Marrakech, offers a breathtaking landscape that seduces him, and the idea of making this magical place INARA CAMP comes naturally to him.
